Among them, the export volume of the Italian ceramic industry was 4.87 billion euros (equivalent to approximately RMB 38.900 billion).
In 2019, the revenue of the Italian ceramic tile industry accounted for about 80% of the total turnover, which was approximately 5.216 billion euros (approximately RMB 41.663 billion). Its output fell 3.6% year-on-year to only 4.007 billion square meters, while total sales were 4.069 billion square meters, basically the same as output.
Among them, domestic ceramic tile sales in Italy were 832 million euros (approximately equivalent to RMB 6.646 billion), the average unit price per square meter was 9.96 euros/square meter (approximately equivalent to RMB 79.56/square meter), and sales volume was 83.5 million. square meters, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%. Exports fell slightly to 333.4 million square meters, down 1.3% year-on-year; revenue was 4.5 billion euros (approximately RMB 35.944 billion), and the average export unit price was13.94 euros (approximately equivalent to RMB 111.35/square meter). Exports accounted for 84% of the total turnover of the Italian ceramic tile industry, which was basically consistent with the level of 5.34 billion euros in 2018, with only a slight decrease of 0.73%.
Giovanni Savorani pointed out that the total investment in the Italian ceramic industry in 2019 was 373.1 million euros, accounting for 7% of the annual turnover, but a 25% decrease from 2018, but the tax incentive policy was higher than expected. It can be seen that Italian ceramic tile manufacturing companies are still confident about future development.

Overall, about 80% of total turnover comes from the markets in which the factories are located.
