Foshan Ceramics Price Index fell 6.96% year-on-year in November
In November, Foshan's overall ceramic price index reported 83.24 points, a year-on-year decrease of 6.96%. The architectural ceramics series index reported 80.77 points, a year-on-year decrease of 7.62%; the sanitary ceramics series index reported 98.05 points, a year-on-year decrease of 3.61%. In November, at the end of the year, Foshan ceramics and sanitary ware products were affected by the weakening market demand. The prices of most representative products fell, product inventories were high, the overall index fell deeply, and the decline of each sub-index increased. In November, antique bricks, porcelain tiles, and other architectural ceramics fell significantly, reaching 24.96%, 10.81%, and 8.22% respectively; the indexes of marble tiles and exterior wall tiles increased by 3.12%, and 1.85%.

In November 2020, the national ceramic tile output was 941.8261 million square meters, an increase of 8.29% over the same month last year. Among them, the output of porcelain bricks was 694.78 million square meters, an increase of 8.58% over the same month last year; the output of ceramic bricks was 247.0461 million square meters, an increase of 7.47% over the same month last year. In the first 11 months of this year, the cumulative output of ceramic tiles nationwide was 9.430 billion square meters, an increase of 2.18% over the same month last year. It is expected that the cumulative output of ceramic tiles nationwide will exceed 10 billion square meters this year.

According to the on-site visit and survey of "Ceramic Information", as of November 14, 2020, Sichuan Province has established 112 architectural ceramic production enterprises, 186 architectural ceramic production lines, and a daily production capacity of ceramic tiles of 2.4772 million square meters (annual production capacity is approximately 7.7 billion square meters), with a daily production capacity of 6.668 million ceramic roof tiles (including accessories). Among them, the Jiajiang production area has 60 ceramic construction companies and 93 production lines; the pan-Jiajiang production area (including Jiajiang, Emeishan, Danling and other adjacent production areas) has 85 ceramic construction companies and 135 production lines. Affected by the switch from coal to gas and the move out of cities and into industrial parks, compared with 2017, the pan-Jiajiang production area has a total of 25 fewer ceramic companies and 31 fewer lines. At present, 15 large plate (750×1500mm and above), thin plate and rock plate lines and 9 medium plate lines have been built in the pan-Jiajiang production area.
