On the afternoon of December 27, 2021, the opening ceremony of Aurora Design Center and Fang Zhenpeng's "Extraordinary" design thinking sharing meeting were successfully held. On the same day, teacher Fang Zhenpeng, teacher Hu Weijian and other big names in the design industry attended the opening ceremony of Aurora Design Center.

Later, Teacher Fang Zhenpeng also held a special dialogue with Teacher Hu Weijian around the hottest topic in the current design ecology: "customization and wabi-sabi". Teacher Hu believes that the so-called high-end design should be based on the needs of each project, with thorough research on materials and precise use.
Teacher Fang expressed his concerns about some unreasonable phenomena in the current advanced customization industry. He pointed out that the future of the advanced customization industry still has a long way to go. For "wabi-sabi", which is currently attracting attention and favor from many people in the customization industry, Teacher Fang understands it as an aesthetic philosophy concept: wabi-sabi is a way to find beauty in simplicity. And the sensibility of aging, by its very nature, is the decay of beauty. Only by looking beyond the surface and thinking deeply about it can we avoid becoming mere formalities and use this philosophical spirit to feed back the design.
